Nestled in the middle of the Nicolet National Forest in northeastern Wisconsin, Bear Paw Scout Camp is a treasure of Scouting fun in a wonderful natural setting. Serving Boy Scouts since 1946, Bear Paw is owned and operated by Wisconsin's Bay-Lakes Council. Each year, Bear Paw exposes thousands of boys to the wonders of nature by hosting camporees, unit camping, and a fabulous summer camp program.

Arrgh! Pirates of Bear Paw Lake invade Mom & Son 2009

Beware Scouts! On June 12 – 14 pirates will seize Bear Paw for the annual spring Mom & Son Camporee. The event will include events all weekend long and provide a great opportunity for Mom to experience a slice of what Scouting has to offer.

Plenty of new programs are planned for 2009, including boating, black powder demonstrations, a nature displays, an obstacle course, and maple syrup demonstrations. Registration includes program fees, an event patch, and meals throughout the weekend.

Weekend fee is $60 per Mom and Son and an additional $15 for each additional Scout participant. Registration form can be found at the Bay-Lakes Council website
