The Summer Camp Leader’s Guide has been updated for the 2009 Summer Camp season. The guide is the perfect companion for adult leaders, seasoned and green, as they prepare for summer camp. You are sure to find plenty of updated information and new programs for your review.
Our Leader’s Guide page helps make the guidebook more digestible by breaking it into easily downloaded sections. Sections and forms that are updated for 2009 feature a ‘NEW’ tag for easier identification.

The Bay-Lakes Council is proud to introduce Neil Walker as Camp Director for Bear Paw Summer Camp 2009. Twice previously Camp Director, Neil Walker is a 27 year camp staff veteran and dedicated year round benefactor of Bear Paw Scout Camp. Additionally Neil, a retired educator, continues his work developing and supporting Bear Paw year round program opportunities.

Once again the Bay-Lakes Council will be hosting a Camp Leader Orientation for all units attending a council camp this summer. This is a great opportunity to meet the camp director and key staff members and get your questions answered about summer camp. Plan on attending for some fellowship and sharing. The orientation will be held Saturday, January 31 at Fox Valley Technical College. We hope to see you there!
The Bay-Lakes Council is taking reservations for campsites for the 2009 summer camp season. Additionally, summer camp fees have been set and payments are now being accepted. Reservations and fee transactions must be made directly with the Center for Scouting in Appleton.

Each year as the sap flows the Bear Paw Sugar Shack is in full swing making our famous maple syrup. You can help make maple syrup and learn something new in the process by registering to participate in Bear Paw Maple Syrup Days. The program will be run on three consecutive Saturdays; March 21, March 28, and April 4. Navigate here to learn more.
