Saffran Lodge Rebuild

With the help of a few Camp Engineer Volunteers, we have been able to completely replace the basement wall of Saffran Lodge. The old wall was removed and new 6" walls put back up, with a concrete footing underneath, new windows and doors and soon, new siding and lights. Thanks to Darrell Kalmas, Don Ascher, G & G Construction, Bob Maki, Jim Fournier and Neil Walker.

Looks like next year Saffran residents will really enjoy the new front wall.

All of the electrical has been finished up on the inside. There is still the siding on the outside to finish up next week. Neil did a lot of painting on the inside and all we have left to do is paint the conduit. It is already much more quiet down there and the wall does not shake when you close the basement door.

Its been a while, but just for an update. Everything has been completed except for painting the doors and that will have to wait for warmer weather...
