The sixteen campsites in Bear Paw are the closet thing to Motel 6 you will find in the national forest.
Each site is neatly tucked away into the woods with just the right amount of privacy and ease of access
to all areas of camp. In 1983 all the campsites were provided with new latrines that are enclosed
with a screen and have a wash table and running water during the summer months. Each campsite also has
a fire ring for your use and enjoyment. Each year half of each campsite lies unused to allow the
vegetation to re-grow and protect the soil.
Campsites are available for booking for anytime of year and hearty campers will enjoy the thrill of the outdoors. Summer camp reservations are booked through the Bay-Lakes Council Center for Scouting and are always in high demand. Summer reservations may be made starting in early June. A capacity for each site has been determined based upon the physical size of the site and the available resources in camp.
