In addition to all the fun and educational opportunities available for scouts, there are also many programs designed for troops and patrols to compete and grow.
Every day at camp, time is set aside for units to grow. Troop Time is special time when
camp facilities are reserved for units to work together and put Scouting to work in camp. Blocks of time in
the afternoon and evening are set aside daily for troops. Many Troop Time activities are opportunities
to use camp expertise to learn skills for Troop activities away from camp. Special programs are in all program areas.
Your commissioner can help you best plan Troop Time activities. Some activities will require reserving

The Bear Paw Campwide Games are held on Wednesday evenings. Competition consists of a Campwide Race to each different area of camp, at where Scouts will have to compete in area specific events. An award is given to the most efficient and fastest way.
The Water Carnival is held every Friday at 6:05. The Carnival features a series of scored aquatics events for swimmers and boaters of all skill levels. Assign a job to each member of your Troop and prepare to cheer your lungs out.
Intertroop competitions are available for those units who would like to meet in competition on the field. You can arrange to play a friendly game of soccer, volleyball, water polo or many others. Events should be safe and conducted in an appropriate manner. Check with your commissioner setting up such an event.
As a special service to all of our guests, a variety of special treats are available for pickup to units who want to enhance their camping experience. All you have to do is give your Commissioner a days notice, trek to the Quartermaster for some supplies, and off you go.
