Boy Scout Resident Camp was held at Bear Paw from 19 June to 13 August in 2005.

In 2005, another long pressing need was satisfied with the completion of a new showerhouse for the north and east sides of camp. Construction had begun in 2004 in the open field that had been the shotgun range. This new shower, with its 12 individual private shower stalls, was a very popular addition to camp and quickly returned to vogue the idea that 'A Scout is Clean'.
