Boy Scout Resident Camp was held at Bear Paw from 14 June to 1 August in 1992, including a Independence Day break. More than 1,020 Scouts visited camp during the six weeks of summer operations representing 94 troops from around the Bay-Lakes Council and visitors from Milwaukee, Delavan, and Waukegan and Algonquin, Illinois.
In 1992 the High Adventure program at Bear Paw came into its own for the first time. In addition to the first ever full time High Adventure staff, this year saw the introduction of ten new mountain bikes (and even more mountain bike parts). Troops experienced their first 'bike hikes' on trails freshly blazed in 1992.
